COVINA, CA – One Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway at East Holt Avenue

Early Morning 3-Vehicle Wreck on 10 Freeway in Covina Ends in Fatality

 
COVINA, CA (December 7, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a three-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Covina.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:44 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway at East Holt Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white SUV, a black sedan and a big rig were involved for unknown reasons. A private ambulance was dispatched to the scene and took at least one patient to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
 
Despite the life saving efforts of the paramedics and hospital staff, the patient did not survive and was declared dead.
 
A coroner was immediately notified to conduct a full report.
 
The crash raised a traffic alert, blocking the second, third, and fourth lanes of the freeway for unknown duration.
 
No identifying information is being released at this time. This incident is still under investigation.
