Three Motorcyclists Killed, One Injured in Kerr County DUI Crash
Kerr County, TX (May 05, 2025) On 25-year-old Courtney Cortez along with 2 others were killed in a shocking crash on State Highway 27 Saturday evening.
According to authorities, the deadly crash happened around 5 p.m. on the westbound lanes of State Highway 27 at Bluff Creek Road North.
Reports say that a suspected drunk driver caused a deadly crash in Kerr County on Saturday evening, killing three motorcyclists and critically injuring a passenger.
Authorities say that 25-year-old Jeremy Wasson reportedly veered into the westbound lanes of SH 27 and crashed head-on into three motorcycles.
Officials say that Courtney, 34-year-old Cody Cortez, and 57-year-old Daniel Cortez Jr., died at the scene.
Emergency responders airlifted a passenger from one of the motorcycles to a hospital in San Antonio with critical injuries.
Authorities arrested Wasson, who now faces three counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault. His bond is set at $350,000. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the incident.
