San Antonio Police Responds to Accident Near Dallas Street
San Antonio, TX (June 1, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, Corina Huerta, 42, lost her life following a pedestrian accident near Brooklyn Avenue.
The fatal collision took place near the intersection with Dallas Street, not far from N. St. Mary’s Street.
San Antonio police said Huerta was walking toward her car when she was struck and pinned between two vehicles.
Drivers stopped and helped her before she was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center with critical injuries. Unfortunately, the doctors declared her dead just before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Moreover, investigating officers said the involved driver did not show signs of intoxication and may have been distracted.
