Corey Callaghan Fatally Struck in Desert Hot Springs Crash

Desert Hot Springs, CA (February 05, 2021) On Thursday night, pedestrian Corey Callaghan, 37, died in a crash on Palm Drive, just south of Dillon Road.

According to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department (DHSPD), the incident happened at about 8 p.m.

Moreover, police say that the driver of the vehicle did not leave the scene, and cooperated with investigators.

Police say that both north and southbound lanes were shut down for several hours due to the investigation.

Additionally, they highly suggested motorists use alternate routes during that time.

Furthermore, investigations are still ongoing, but the identity of the deceased was released as Palm Desert resident, Corey Callaghan.
