Oleg Dyfort Arrested in Disastrous DUI Crash on Buckeye Avenue
Spokane Valley, WA (December 18, 2023) On Sunday afternoon, 65-year-old Connie Russell was hurt after a 2-vehicle crash on Pines Road.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the 2-car crash happened around 12:15 p.m. on the intersection at Pines Road and Buckeye Avenue.
Reports say that 46-year-old Oleg Dyfort driving a northbound vehicle that crossed the centerlines and collided head-on with the southbound vehicle driven by Russell.
Authorities say that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. Officials arrested Dyfort, who escaped injuries in the crash, and was charged with vehicular assault.
Meanwhile, Russell was transported to a nearby hospital due to her injuries.
WSP is investigating the 2-vehicle DUI crash.
