Colleen Johnson and Jesus Fausto-Curiel Dead in Wenatchee Crash on Chelan Avenue
Wenatchee, WA (February 12, 2021) – A car crashed into a barber shop on Chelan Avenue and killed Colleen Johnson, 61, and Jesus Fausto-Curiel, 25.
The tragic incident took place on February 11 around 6:30 p.m. on Chelan Avenue. According to Wenatchee Police Capt. Edgar Reinfeld, the vehicle traveling erratically on the road collided into the barbershop.
The victims have not been identified, but Reinfeld confirmed that the driver was not among those killed.
Furthermore, officers believed that a third person has died but was revived at Central Washington Hospital. Medics then airlifted the patient to Harborview Medical Center.
As of the moment, it is unknown what caused the collision however, Reinfeld said that intoxication did not seem to be a factor.

There were other people who sustained injuries, but due to the lack of details, the number of injured and the severity of injuries are still unidentified.
Moreover, Chelan Avenue and Second Street remained closed for several hours. Police advised advised to avoid the area.
