Colby Greiner Dies in Catastrophic Traffic Collision on Montelago Boulevard [Henderson, NV]

Henderson, NV (October 18, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 40-year-old Colby Greiner died due to fatal injuries suffered in a traffic collision on Montelago Boulevard.

According to the Henderson Police Department, the deadly vehicle-bicycle crash happened around 6:40 a.m. on Lake Las Vegas Parkway and Montelago Boulevard, near the Village Resort.

Officials say that a commercial vehicle hit and seriously injures Greiner who was eastbound on Lake Las Vegas Parkway approaching the round-about at the intersection of Montelogo Boulevard.

Reports say that the vehicle was completing its right-hand turn in the same direction as the bicyclist., when the bicyclist attempted to pass alongside the right side of the commercial vehicle and was run over.

Medics rushed the injured Greiner to Sunrise Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are investigating the fatal vehicle-bicycle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
