2 People Hurt in Kirksville Auto Accident on Highway 63 and Highway 11
KIRKSVILLE, MO (January 2, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, Clifford Brown and Nancy Brown sustained injuries in a startling traffic crash on Highway 63.
The incident happened at around 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 63 and Highway 11/Illinois Street.
According to the Kirksville Police, an eastbound box truck failed to yield the right of way and collided with a northbound SUV.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the SUV, identified as 81-year-old Clifford, and his passenger, 81-year-old Nancy, to Northeast Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the driver of the box truck, identified as 49-year-old Kenneth Ferguson Jr, sustained no injuries in the incident.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the Kirksville Police continued investigating the crash.
