Citlalli Santana Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley

Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 60 Freeway at Indian Street

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (April 11, 2019) – A woman was killed following a pedestrian accident Thursday evening in Moreno Valley, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal incident happened around 10:27 p.m., along the westbound lanes of 60 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived to the area near Indian Street soon after.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but the woman was found lying on the right shoulder when law enforcement arrived. Paramedics eventually arrived due to needed medical assistance.
 
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the impact. The female identified as Citlalli Santana, 20, of Moreno Valley, was pronounced dead on scene.
 
Furthermore, no information was provided about the other vehicle or its occupants. It is also unknown whether any charges were filed because liability has not yet been determined.
 
Authorities are still currently investigating, and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
