CHULA VISTA, CA – Motorcyclist Dies in Crash With Vehicle at Broadway and F Street

Rider Perishes in Chula Vista Motorcycle Accident

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (February 11, 2019) – A 54-year-old motorcyclist was killed Friday morning following a collision with a vehicle at Broadway and F Street.
 
The deadly crash happened just before 6 a.m. According to a preliminary Chula Vista Police Department investigation, the motorcyclist was heading northbound on Broadway and entered the intersection with F Street on a green light when a vehicle heading southbound made a left turn on a circular green light and collided with the motorcyclist.
 
The unidentified victim was ejected from the motorcycle onto the roadway and died shortly after. The passenger and driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and cooperated with investigators.
 
Authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs played a factor, but the crash remains under investigation. Any witnesses are encouraged to come forward and call the Chula Vista Police Department at (619) 691-5151.
