DENTON, TX (October 11, 2023) – Sunday night, Christopher Yarmie died in a tragic hit-and-run crash on Interstate 35 near West University Drive.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 35 near West University Drive.

According to the Denton Police, a dark-colored Peterbilt truck cab with a livestock trailer struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim, 60-year-old Yarmie, to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
