Christopher Kane Dies in Solo-Car Wreck on Greenstone Road Near Zarahemla Road

 
PLACERVILLE, CA (February 21, 2019) – A single-vehicle crash on Greenstone Road near Zarahemla Road Monday afternoon claimed a 62-year-old man’s life.
 
California Highway Patrol officers believe Christopher Kane was heading northbound on Greenstone Road in a 2013 Ford F-150 when around 1:30 p.m., he veered off the roadway. His Ford pickup rolled down an embankment and collided with three trees, partially ejecting him from the cabin.
 
Officers do not believe the 62-year-old El Dorado man was wearing his seatbelt. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Through an investigation, CHP determined that neither drug nor alcohol played a role in the crash.
