Christopher Hooper Arrested After DUI Crash on  O’Byrnes Ferry Road in Jamestown

Jamestown, CA (November 13, 2024) – Authorities arrested a 24-year-old Christopher Hooper for DUI following a solo vehicle crash on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. last Wednesday, November 6. 

The westbound lane remained blocked for about an hour as CHP officers managed the backed-up traffic. 

According to the CHP, 24-year-old Christopher Hooper was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound with his passenger, 22-year-old Orion Ingram, also from Modesto. 

As Hooper approached slowed traffic, he veered off the roadway, causing the SUV to hit a curb and overturn onto its roof.

Fortunately, both Hooper and Ingram escaped the overturned vehicle with only minor injuries.

During their investigation, CHP officers determined Hooper was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. 

Authorities arrested him and booked him on felony DUI charges.
