Accident on US 6 Kills Utah Man Christopher Delgado-Rosas
Esmeralda County, NV (May 12, 2021) – On Monday, 22-year-old Christopher Delgado-Rosas of Salt Lake City, Utah died in a semi-truck crash on US 6.
The fatal accident took place at about 8:20 p.m. near Tonopah.
Authorities said Delgado-Rosas drove a silver 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup eastbound in the westbound lane of the highway.
At the same time, a semi-truck driver was westbound in the westbound lane. It drifted to the right to avoid a collision. Even so, it still struck the left front of the pickup.
Officers pronounced Delgado-Rosas dead on the scene. They also said he was not wearing a seat belt during the accident.
