17-Year-Old Christian Perez Arrested in Deer Park High School Accident [Deer Park, TX]

Deer Park, TX (April 15, 2025) – The authorities arrested 17-year-old Christian Perez following a Deer Park High School accident Tuesday morning.

It was around 9:30 a.m. when the traffic accident happened southwest section of the Abshier Stadium parking lot.

According to the investigator, two students were walking across the parking lot towards the school when the SUV driven by Perez circled across the parking lot and struck them.

The two students, a boy and girl, were rushed to an area hospital.

DPHS Principal Kirk Taylor confirmed the vicitms were conscious and responsive, though, both injured. Officers said the victims’ injuries are not life threatening.

Moreover, the authorities arrested Christian Perez at the scene for charges of two counts of reckless aggravated assault.
