Christian Inman Killed, 6 Injured in Accident on Carmenita Road and Imperial Highway [Whittier, CA]

1 Dead and 6 Hospitalized after Whitter Car Crash on Carmenita Road

 
WHITTIER, CA (November 13, 2020) – Wednesday night, Christian Inman died and six others suffered injuries in an accident on Carmenita Road.
 
This deadly accident involved an Audi and Corolla, that crashed into a traffic pole happened at 10:35 p.m.
 
According to Officer Marcos Iniguez, the occupants of the Audi didn’t wear their seat belts.
 
At this time, the authorities are still looking into the possibility that the Audi participated in a so-called street takeover. This happens when vehicles didn’t follow traffic laws and spin in an intersection, often doing doughnuts.
 
Reports revealed that the Toyota Corolla headed south on Carmenita Road. Moreover, the vehicle attempted to turn left onto Imperial Highway when the crash happened.
 
The Audi S5 drove north on Carmenita Road and approached the intersection despite a red light. An officer confirmed that the Audi was speeding. However, they haven’t clarified how much the Audi went over the speed limit.
 
“The Audi’s passenger side hit a traffic-signal pole on the northeast corner causing fatal injuries to the front passenger,” Iniguez added.
 
Aside from the death of Christian Inman, the 21-year-old Audi driver from Temecula suffered major injuries. Moreover, his three passengers, a 14-year-old Wildomar girl, a 16-year-old Murrieta boy, and a 20-year-old Murrieta woman also sustained major injuries.
 
On the other hand, the two other Audi passengers, a 17-year-old Murrieta girl, and a 19-year-old Murrieta woman sustained moderate injuries.
 
Furthermore, all patients were transported to the hospitals.
 
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Corolla driver from La Mirada was uninjured.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests concerning this fatal Whittier crash.
