MENIFEE, CA (January 13, 2022) – Wednesday night, a deadly pedestrian crash on Highway 74 and Trumble Road involved Chris Kornacki.

According to the Menifee Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 74 at Trumble Road.

Reports revealed that a sedan traveled at an unknown rate of speed. Then, the driver, Chris Kornacki of New York spotted the female pedestrian attempting to cross the highway outside a marked crosswalk.

Kornacki tried to swerve the vehicle to avoid hitting the woman but he failed to prevent the collision. Afterward, Kornacki remained at the scene and called 9-1-1.

Moreover, responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities questioned and released Chris Kornacki after the incident. Officials do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash.
