Injuries Reported in Yosemite National Park Accident near Fish Camp and Tenaya Lodge
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA (January 30, 2023) – Sunday morning, a CHP officer suffered injuries in a tow truck crash near Fish Camp and Tenaya Lodge.
The accident happened at about 11:00 a.m. near Fish Camp and Tenaya Lodge.
According to reports, CHP responded to an initial report of multiple cars being stuck in the snow. However, upon their arrival, a sliding tow truck crushed and injured a CHP officer between the truck and the vehicle.
Thus, a CHP helicopter transported the officer to the Community Regional Medical center with moderate injuries. Officers confirmed that the patient has since been released from the hospital.
