Racing Leads to Crash on Fresno Street and Normal Avenue

Fresno, CA (August 20, 2021) – One of the two racing vehicles collided with another vehicle in a crash on Fresno Street and Normal Avenue on Thursday afternoon. 

The collision took place on August 19 on Fresno Street and Normal Avenue at around 5:00 p.m. 

According to the report,  the two racing vehicles were traveling southbound from Fresno and Clinton. Then, one of the vehicles crashed into another vehicle that was pulling out onto the street. 

Due to the impact of the crash, one of the vehicles overturned. 

One of the racing vehicles that was not involved in the collision fled the scene. There has been no update regarding the location of the vehicle or the identification of the driver. 

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the occupants in one of the vehicles include children. Medics transported them to a nearby hospital however, the severity of the injuries was unknown. 

Moreover, officials confirmed there were no major injuries from the collision.
