Two Cars Involved in Major Accident Near Avondale Road

 
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (October 26, 2019) – A child suffered serious injuries in a crash on Broadway Road on Saturday night.
 
According to the police, the crash happened near the intersection of Avondale Road at approximately 7:07 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 3-year-old victim was an occupant of a car driven by a woman. They were going westbound on Broadway when their car collided with another car going northbound on Avondale Road.
 
Paramedics transported the toddler to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. In addition, they took the woman to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
MCSO did not release any other details on the incident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
