2-Year-Old Dead After Solo Vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road in Houston
Houston, TX (November 21, 2024) – Houston police are investigating a tragic crash on Tidwell Road involving an underage driver that claimed the life of a 2-year-old child.
The accident happened around 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday at 9200 Tidwell Rd. A 15-year-old boy was driving a white Honda Pilot with the toddler as a passenger.
While the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, the driver veered off the single lane and into a steep ditch.
The child, who was not secured in a booster seat, suffered fatal injuries but was not ejected from the vehicle.
Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived quickly, transporting the toddler to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
