Valencia, CA (October 29, 2021) – Friday afternoon, a child sustained injuries in a deputy-involved traffic crash on McBean Parkway and Del Monte Drive.

The crash in Valencia happened at around 1:30 p.m. on October 29.  

Police said the deputy and vehicle — a white, four-door GMC collided near the intersection, with the front end of the civilian vehicle appearing damaged while the law enforcement SUV had its airbags deployed.  

Reportedly, an adult took a child to the hospital. No other reported injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
