KENNEWICK, WA (September 19, 2021) – Friday morning, a child sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Edison Street and 4th Avenue.
 
The authorities received a report of a driver hitting a child at about 8:30 a.m. Moreover, the incident happened as the child walked to school on S. Edison Street and W. 4th Avenue.
 
The Kennewick Police Department and Kennewick Fire Department responded to the scene to aid the boy.
 
Moreover, reports confirmed that the child used the crosswalk during the incident. Also, they said that the driver made a left-hand turn and “did not see the child.”
