Police Search the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on 7th Street in Victorville

Victorville, CA (November 19, 2022) – Saturday night, a 9-year-old girl sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 7th Street.

The hit-and-run crash in Victorville happened at around 5:45 p.m. on November 19.

The Victorville Fire Department and AMR arrived and found the critically injured young girl at the scene.

Reportedly, the girl’s aunt took the girl and her two younger siblings walking across the street to order dinner at the Queen Drive IN. After picking up the food, they held hands and started walking back across Seventh Street.

While the four of them stood and waited in the middle turning lane, a vehicle hit the girl.

Then a red vehicle stopped at the scene, and the driver picked up and carried the injured girl over to her aunt. 

However, the driver said he wasn’t the one who hit the child and left the scene approximately 5-10 minutes later.

Meanwhile, EMS rushed the child to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and further transported her by helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
