Child Injured in Richmond Hit-and-Run Accident
RICHMOND, CA (April 15, 2019) – A child suffered injuries after a multi-car accident on 80 Freeway in Richmond on April 13.
According to the CHP, callers first reported the 8-vehicle crash at 10:09 p.m. near El Portal Drive. An involved vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.
Meanwhile, medical responders transported the child to UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland for precautionary reasons.
As of this time, the description of the suspect’s vehicle remains unknown.
Furthermore, the collision blocked all lanes at 10:31 p.m. to make way for the CHP’s investigation. Fortunately, all the lanes finally reopened.
