2 Pedestrians Injured in Reno Collision at Carat Avenue and Double Diamond Parkway
RENO, NV (June 7, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in Thursday’s pedestrian accident at Carat Avenue and Double Diamond Parkway.
According to reports, Reno authorities responded around 8:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of Carat Avenue. After that, the authorities found a 6-year-old girl and her father in the street.
Paramedics arrived quickly to transport both severely injured patients to RENOWN.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police questioning. Officials do not believe speed or impairment played a factor in the accident. They did, however, determine that the car struck the pair as they crossed north to south in a marked crosswalk.
No others details have been released at this time. The Reno Police Department is investigating this case further.
