Kent, WA (October 4, 2020) – On Saturday, a child died in a vehicle crash on Southeast 208th Street.

Police responded to the incident at about 4:50 p.m. to the 10800 block area.

As the authorities arrived at the scene, they located the child pinned between two vehicles.

Immediately, paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim. However, the officials said the child still died at the scene.

Moreover, law enforcement said one of the drivers involved in the accident might have been experiencing a medical emergency during that time.

Also, authorities stated that drugs or alcohol were involved were not considered factors in the crash.

Furthermore, the officials closed the road for some time as the investigation is done.

Meanwhile, a police chaplain assisted the family of the child.

We at Sweet Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Our thoughts are with you in this painful time.

How the Deceased’s Family May Proceed

While the loss of a dear one is irreversible, it is in the best interest of you and your family to be aware of what to do next.

The family of the victim must become aware that they may have the authority to file a wrongful death suit. A wrongful death suit can help a family vindicate their dearly departed.

Filing a wrongful death claim will also alleviate the financial burden the death of a relative has generated.

“Having legal representation after such a traumatic event will provide your family with the space to heal. At the same time, ensuring that justice is brought to your loved one,” says Mark Sweet, of Sweet Lawyers.
