25-Year-Old Charles Cullum Seriously Injured in S Sprague Avenue Collision [Tacoma, WA]

Tacoma, WA (September 3, 2024) – 25-year-old Charles Cullum was injured in a hit-and-run crash on S Sprague Avenue Monday morning.

It was about 5:30 a.m. when the collision happened less than five miles from his apartment. The victim said he was on his way home from work when the collision occured.

The collision happened at the intersection of with S 15th Street in Hilltop.

Callum said a driver made a sudden right turn from the left lane right into his vehicle which was in the right lane. 

The victim said he hopes to make a full recovery but cannot accept the fact that another driver hit his vehicle, flipped it onto its roof and just kept on driving.

Anthony, Charles Cullum‘s brother, knocked on several doors that day to get a surveillance video, and were able to pinpoint the time and date of the collision. However, they were not able to determine the license plate of the suspect vehicle.

They said the make or model of the vehicle that fled the scene wasn’t clear, but it looks as if the SUV is white or light grey.

Tacoma Police is investigating the hit-and-run collision and no arrests have been made as of yet.
