DPS Investigates Fatal Bicycle Collision near Bachmann Road
Dean, TX (June 3, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a tragic bicycle accident on FM 2393 claimed the life of Charles and Lisa McBride.
According to DPS, the fatal bicycle collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 2393, near Bachmann Road.
Reports say that the driver of a 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck failed to see both bicyclist riding in front of his truck. The truck fatally struck both cyclist from the back.
DPS says that both bicyclists, identified as 49-year-old Lisa Kathleen McBride, and 63-year-old Charles Winget McBride, both from Wichita Falls, died at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the fatal bicycle collision.
