Chancey Darmond Killed in Tragic Accident in Chula Vista

 
Chula Vista, CA (October 21, 2020) – On Wednesday, 31-year-old Chancey Darmond, a transient, died in a pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway.
 
The fatal incident took place early morning on October 14 south of State Route 54.
 
Apparently, a driver of a vehicle travelling northbound on State Route 805 seen multiple cars swerving in front of him. Then, he noticed what appeared to be a body in the road. He pulled over and called 911.
 
Immediately, officers responded to the scene.They pronounced the victim dead due to multiple blunt force injuries.  
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
