50-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Crash on Twentynine Palm Highway
YUCCA VALLEY, CA (March 24, 2018) – A motorcycle-SUV collision took the life of a 50-year-old Yucca Valley man, Saturday night.
The crash happened on the 58100 block of Twentynine Palms Highway. Chad Trevor Smithling was heading east on the highway when an SUV turned left from the westbound lanes into the AMPM Parking lot and struck his motorcycle. The impact of the collision ejected Smithling from his bike.
Medics arrived and declared Smithling dead at the scene of the accident. No other information is available at this time.
