42-Year-Old Cesar Gonzales Killed in Crash on State Route 278

 
Eureka County, NV (February 25, 2021) – On Saturday, 42-year-old Cesar Gonzales of North Las Vegas died in a tragic rollover crash on State Route 278.
 
The fatal crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. about 10 miles south of Carlin.
 
Officers said Gonzales was driving a Dodge Ram pickup heading northbound on State Route 278 when he failed to make a curve in the road.
 
His truck went off the right side of the road. Gonzales drifted to the left and struck a guardrail. Afterward, his vehicle went down an embankment and rolled.
 
Unfortunately, Gonzales died at the crash scene.
 
Also, five other people inside his truck sustained minor injuries.
 
Furthermore, authorities suspect impairment as a factor in the crash. Also, they noted that Gonzales was not wearing a seatbelt.
