Injuries Reported in Fresno Auto Accident on State Route 180 and Clovis Avenue
FRESNO, CA (November 20, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Ceara Eldride suffered injuries in a speeding crash on State Route 180 and Clovis Avenue.
The incident happened just after 5:00 a.m. on State Route 180, east of Clovis Avenue
According to reports, 19-year-old Ceara Eldride sustained wounds after her Hyundai Elantra crashed with the trailer of a Peterbuilt semi-truck.
Investigators revealed that 62-year-old Keith Miller of Fresno drove the truck in the far right lane of Highway 180. Meanwhile, Eldride also drove in that lane and approached the semi-truck at an unsafe speed.
Eventually, Eldride’s car caught up to the Peterbuilt and struck the back of it when she failed to stop in time.
As a result, Ceara Eldride’s car overturned, ejecting her in the process. Also, officers confirmed that she failed to wear her seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Thus, responders took her to an area hospital with major injuries.
Furthermore, the CHP does not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
