48-Year-Old Catherine Kuo Dies in 3601 Kohnen Way Accident

 
Dublin, CA (March 25, 2021) – On Wednesday, 48-year-old Catherine Kuo lost her life in a deadly pedestrian accident on 3601 Kohnen Way.
 
Police responded to the crash scene at Fallon Middle School at about 11:45 a.m. on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. When they arrived they discovered she was pinned between two vehicles.
 
Kuo is a Dublin Unified School District’s board trustee. She was volunteering at a food drive on campus when the accident happened.
 
Immediately, rescuers provided first aid before they took her to Eden Medical Center for her injuries.
 
Moreover, officers said drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the fatal accident.
 
Dublin schools interim Superintendent Daniel Moirao released a heartfelt statement expressing grief on Kuo’s tragic death.
 
“Our heart goes out to Catherine’s family and friends. We can’t begin to fathom the impact of this loss on you. She dedicated so much of her heart, soul, and time to our community. Catherine had a lightness about her, a comforting manner that helped people feel at ease. She was friendly, nurturing, kind, and generous. We were lucky to have known her and will miss her more than words can express,” Moirao’s statement read.
 
Kuo’s friends organized a GoFundMe for her husband and two children.
