Catherine David Killed in Las Vegas Crash
Las Vegas, NV (December 21, 2021)– On Monday, 69-year-old Catherine David died in a hit-and-run crash on Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
The collision happened at 6:21 a.m. at Crisman Ridge Street.
Officers said that a westbound green 2002 Chevrolet 1500 pick-up truck turned left into the path of a gray 1998 Infinity Q45T.
As a result, the two vehicles crashed and a loose gas can was thrown into the windshield of a blue 2001 Ford Mustang.
Immediately, the rescuers took the Infinity driver and passenger, David, to University Medical Center.
Unfortunately, the medics pronounced David, dead on the scene.
The Infinity driver sustained minor injuries from the collision.
Moreover, the Mustang driver did not suffer any injuries from the accident.
The authorities said that the truck driver fled on foot. Officers pronounced him as a Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old. They said that the suspect is between 5’5″ and 5’8″ tall, weighing about 180 lbs.
They also noted that the suspect was last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
