NSP Investigates Fatal Accident on U.S. 95 That Killed 39-Year-Old Minneapolis Woman
Las Vegas, NV (June 3, 2023) On May 26, 39-year-old Cassandra Jeannine Bjork of Minneapolis died in a solo-car crash on US 95.
According to the Nevada State Police (NSP), the fatal accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on U.S. 95 south of Mile Marker 69 in Nye County.
Reports say that a southbound 2009 silver Honda two-door sedan veered off the road and went to the dirt shoulder on the west side of U.S. 95. Officials say that the driver, tried to recover, however, they over-corrected ultimately colliding with a fence on the east side of U.S. 95 and flipped.
Authorities say that the crash ejected Bjork and was fatally injured. Officials pronounced her dead at the scene.
