Carrie Pickron Killed in East Marshall Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Longview, TX]

Officers Search for Suspect Driver in Longview Fatal Collision

Longview, TX (May 9, 2023) – On Sunday, Carrie Pickron, 39, of Longview, was killed in an East Marshall Avenue hit-and-run crash.

The fatal collision took place at about 10:47 p.m. in the 1500 block area.

Investigating officers said Pickron was driving a motorized scooter when he was hit by a two-tone black/grey Dodge Challenger with black wheels. Officers said it is possible that the vehicle sustained front-end damage.

The paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
