PACOIMA, CA (December 9, 2019) – A 72-year-old man from Van Nuys died in a train accident on San Fernando Road on December 7.
 
The incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. at 11130 North San Fernando Road near Paxton Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, Carlos Lezama walked in the area and got struck by a Metrolink train bound to Antelope Valley.
 
The pedestrian died at the scene. Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
