Carl Knight Struck and Killed on Highway 29

 
Lower Lake, CA (October 20, 2020) – On Thursday, 59-year-old Carl Knight of Clearlake died in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 29.
 
The fatal accident took place at about at 6:30 a.m. south of Orchard Street in Lower Lake when Knight was crossing Highway 29
 
Knight was walking from the west side towards the east side of the roadway. Then suddenly, a vehicle struck him while he was in the No. 2 northbound lane of Highway 53.
 
The driver immediately fled the scene after the incident.
 
Furthermore, the rescuers rushed Knight to Adventist Health Clear Lake Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.
