DUI Driver Involved in Collision near 13th Street

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 10, 2019) – A car slammed into Sandra Kahn’s house in a DUI crash on South Land Park Drive on early Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near the intersection of 13th Street at approximately 2:00 AM.
 
An out-of-control SUV driven by a suspected drunk driver jumped the curve before it went from the street into a neighbor’s yard and took out a tree. After that, it went crashing into Kahn’s home.
 
Kahn, who was sleeping at the time of the accident, was thrown from her couch with her cats by her side. Fortunately, she did not sustain any injury.
 
The driver of the SUV sustained injuries. As a result, paramedics transported the driver to the hospital for treatment. After that, police arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
