Calvin Everhart Dies in Head-on Crash on 395 south of China Lake

 
Ridgecrest, CA (July 24, 2020) – On Thursday morning, 53-year-old Calvin Everhart of San Fernando died in a head-on crash with a big rig on 395 south of China Lake Boulevard.
 
The crash happened at 2:10 a.m., on July 23. The CHP said the truck and big rig were involved in the collision. The truck driver, Everhart, died and the big rig driver sustained severe injuries.
 
Subsequently, medics the big rig driver to Kern Medical.
 Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the CHP Mojave area office at 661-823-5500.
 
Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
