Fresno, CA (January 18, 2023) On Tuesday evening, a pedestrian crash on California Avenue claimed the life of a man in his 50s.

The Fresno Police Department says that the deadly traffic accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection with Elm Avenue.

Reports say that the female driver did not see the male pedestrian walking from the east side to the west side in the roadway, andfatally struck the man.

Authorities say that the woman called police after the incident.
