Nancy Palacios Dead in Wasco Accident on Palm Avenue and Taussig Avenue

WASCO, CA (December 15, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a 26-year-old Nancy Palacios died, and Cale Austin Rogers was involved in a car crash on Palm Avenue and Taussig Avenue.

The deadly accident happened at around 5:50 a.m. on Palm Avenue, south of Taussig Avenue.

According to the preliminary investigation, a Honda Accord traveled west on Palm Avenue. Then, it veered onto the shoulder, overcorrected, and drove into the southbound lane. Afterward, the vehicle went into the path of a Chevy 2500 pickup, driven by Mr. Rogers.

However, the pickup couldn’t stop in time and struck the side of the Honda.

As a result, the female driver from Wasco, Nancy Palacios, died at the scene. Meanwhile, reports say the pickup driver suffered did not claim injuries in the crash.

Moreover, the authorities confirmed that the road was wet and it was raining heavily at the time of the crash. Also, the authorities do not suspect that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.
