CHULA VISTA, CA (February 25, 2021) – Wednesday morning, Byungsun Han, 86, died in a scooter accident on Oxford Street near Fourth Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on Oxford Street near Fourth Avenue. According to reports, an eastbound vehicle hit the mobility scooter rider as he crossed the street.
 
After the crash, the man was thrown onto the street.
 
According to a witness who contacted 911, the man fell under a parked vehicle.
 
When the medics arrived, they began initiating CPR before transporting him to a hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.
