Byron Wesley Involved in North Nellis Boulevard Fatal Accident [Las Vegas, NV]

55-Year-Old Man Killed in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident

Las Vegas, NV (March 12, 2023) – On Saturday, Byron Wesley, 53, of North Las Vegas, was involved in a North Nellis Boulevard fatal accident.

The fatal crash happened at 2:30 a.m. near the intersection with Las Vegas Boulevard.

Officers said the man was crossing North Nellis Boulevard westbound outside of a marked. The man walked into the path of a 2020 Toyota RAV-4 driven by Wesley in the center southbound lane near the intersection.

Unfortunately, the SUV struck the pedestrian who was thrown onto the ground.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the pedestrian to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Reports said that neither Byron Wesley nor his passenger, Antonio Luna-Rojas, 19, also from North Las Vegas, sustained injuries in the Las Vegas pedestrian accident. The investigating officers said impairment is not considered a factor in the fatal accident.

LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is still investigating.
