BUENA PARK, CA – One Injured in Big-Rig Accident on 91 Freeway

Dump Truck and Sedan Collide on Valley View Street in Buena Park

 
BUENA PARK, CA (March 11, 2019) – One unidentified person was hospitalized Monday morning, following a big-rig accident on 91 Freeway.
 
The collision happened around 5:51 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the highway. First responders arrived to the scene near Valley View Street, near the EZ gas station.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white dump truck and a black Honda Civic collided into each other for unknown reasons. An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the Honda driver to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital.
 
The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the patient were not immediately known.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damage but tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the wreckage.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
