1 Person Hospitalized after Bakersfield Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99 and Wilson Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 22, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a Highway 99 crash in Bakersfield led to brutalizing injuries.

The incident happened at 5:34 a.m. on Highway 99 and Wilson Road.

According to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page, a Toyota pickup truck overturned. Then, it landed on its side in the slow lane of northbound Highway 99.

After the crash, the driver managed to escape from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the second vehicle involved, a Nissan 350Z, stopped in the center divider of Highway 99.

Then, responders took at least one person to Kern Medical with minor injuries.
