EL PASO, TX (May 20, 2025) – Monday morning, a brutal vehicle crash on Spur 601 near Airport Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. on Spur 601 near Airport Road.

The Texas Department of Transportation confirmed that one person died in the crash.

The incident closed all eastbound lanes at Airport Road and westbound lanes at Global Reach Drive.
