1 Person Dead in Long Beach Traffic Crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Junipero Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (June 15, 2023) – Tuesday night, a brutal vehicle accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Junipero Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Junipero Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, an eastbound 2018 Dodge Challenger struck a man who was crossing the northbound lanes on a scooter and outside a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the scooter rider died in the collision. Also, the Dodge driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that Speed, drugs, and alcohol were factors in the crash.
