1 Dead in Banning Auto Accident on 5200 W Ramsey Street

BANNING, CA (January 1, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a driver died in a brutal traffic crash on 5200 W Ramsey Street.

The incident happened at around 3:50 p.m. in the 5200 block of W. Ramsey Street, according to a statement from the Banning Police Department.

Upon arrival, officials located two vehicles involved in the collision, along with two additional parked vehicles that were damaged but unoccupied.

The ejected driver, whose identity has not been released, was treated at the scene for severe injuries before being pronounced dead, according to a statement from the department.

Another driver involved in the crash received medical attention on-site and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They are expected to recover.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Corporal Campa with the Banning Police Department’s Traffic Bureau.
